pliip is a mobile app that helps you track items you want to get rid of. This policy explains what data the app accesses and how it is handled.
All data you enter in pliip — basically item names and descriptions, notes, expiry dates, and photos — is stored locally on your device only. pliip has no backend server, no user accounts, and no cloud sync. Your data never leaves your device.
pliip requests the following permissions:
Camera and media library permissions are requested only when you choose to attach a photo to an item, and can be denied without affecting the core functionality of the app. Notification permission is required to receive expiry reminders, which is the primary purpose of the app.
pliip does not integrate any analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or other third-party SDKs that collect or transmit data.
pliip does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
If this policy changes in a future version of the app, the updated policy will be available at the same URL and the “Last updated” date above will reflect the change.
